Terms & Licence
Last updated: 23 August 2026
These terms are a starting point, not legal advice. Have them reviewed before you rely on them, and replace every field marked in capitals.
1. What you are buying
A subscription licence to use the FastEdit panel, not ownership of it. The software, its source code, the animated template pack and the FastEdit name remain the property of OWNER NAME, VAT/ID NUMBER, ADDRESS.
2. What you may do
- Install and use the panel on the number of computers your licence allows.
- Use it for commercial client work, with no royalty on what you produce.
- Use the animated templates inside videos you deliver to clients.
3. What you may not do
- Redistribute, resell, sublicense or publish the panel or the template pack, in whole or in part, including inside another product or template bundle.
- Share your licence key, or use it beyond your activation limit.
- Modify, decompile or work around the licence check.
- Remove or alter the FastEdit name or notices.
4. Free and Pro
The free features remain available without a licence. The Pro features require an active subscription. If your subscription ends, the Pro features lock and the premium template pack stops receiving updates, but work already placed in your projects is untouched and stays yours.
5. Billing, renewal and cancellation
Subscriptions are sold and billed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. They renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the link in your receipt; the licence stays active until the end of the paid period.
6. Refunds
The panel is free to download, so you can install it and check that it runs on your machine before you pay for anything. For that reason we do not offer refunds on subscription payments already taken. You can cancel at any time from the panel and you will not be charged again; your licence stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
Two exceptions apply whatever this page says. Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for every order and may issue a refund under its own policy. And if you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw within 14 days of purchase, which you lose only if you expressly agree at checkout that the download starts immediately and acknowledge losing that right.
7. Third parties
The AI features require your own Anthropic API key, and your use of it is governed by your agreement with Anthropic. Their pricing, availability and model behaviour are outside our control. FastEdit is not affiliated with Adobe or Anthropic.
8. The panel edits your project
FastEdit cuts, moves and adds clips in your timeline. It shows you what it is going to do and waits for you to confirm, but keep your own backups. Premiere's own auto-save and project versions are your safety net, and we recommend running FastEdit on a saved project.
9. No warranty, and the limit of our liability
The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost work, lost footage, lost profits or consequential damage.
Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country that cannot be waived.
10. Ending the licence
We may end a licence that breaches section 3. Where the breach is not deliberate we will say what the problem is and give you a reasonable chance to fix it first.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of COUNTRY, and disputes go to the courts of CITY, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection in your own country.
